Chanters of “Virgo” were the first to seal the new stamp of Brazil [2008-10-09]

On September 24, 2008 the festive presentation of the newly issued stamp of Brazil took place in Juiz de Foros general post-office. The honour of putting two first seals on the new stamp was given to Rasa Gelgotienė, the head of Vilnius university women’s choir Virgo, and Julija Snezko, president of the choir.

The new stamp is dedicated to the International choir festival, which takes place in the town of Juiz de Foros for the 14th time. The stamp presents conductor of the choir, surrounded by flags of different countries. The flags of Brazil and Lithuania are in the foreground.
