Coming to a foreign country can be both exciting and difficult. Vilnius University with its Erasmus students Network (ESN) organize Orientation week and Survival Lithuanian Language Courses for new international students starting spring semester.

You are kindly invited to the 6th Baltic Archaeological Seminar (BASE 6). This time the Seminar will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on 25th–27th October, 2013. The Seminar is organised by the Department of Archaeology, Vilnius University. We have the pleasure to invite archaeologists from Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania.
The 7th European Cervical Cancer Prevention Week [2013-01-22]
Organised cervical cancer screening programmes can prevent up to 80% of cervical cancers. In addition, vaccines against the Human papillomavirus (HPV) are highly effectively when given to adolescents and can reduce cervical cancer rates even further.

On December 19 ( Wednesday) at 16.00 a scientific seminar of prof. Eugenijus Urnėžius from Portland university (USA) will take place at the Faculty of Chemistry, in the Neorganic Chemistry Auditorium ( 24 Naugarduko St.).
In the spirit of St. Lucia Day [2012-12-10]
On December 13 (Thursday) at 7 PM St. Lucia concert will be performd by the Bernardine Church singing school choirs in St. John's Church, Universiteto str. 3, Vilnius. Swedish mulled wine glögg, ginger cookies pepparkakor and saffroon buns lussekatter will be served in the Grand Courtyard of Vilnius University after the concert.
