The University of Vilnius, founded in 1579, is one of the oldest and most famous establishments of higher education in Eastern and Central Europe. Functioning for a long time as the only school of higher education in Lithuania, it was the preserver of cultural and scientific traditions, and has played a significant part in the cultural life not only of Lithuania, but the neighboring countries as well.
Due to our long history and research traditions, today we can offer research and consultancy services in a wide range of subject areas for public, non-profit and commercial organizations and individuals.
The range of services and consultancy available at the University include:
- Medical consultations, research, equipment;
- Various services for business enterprises, starting with project management or statistical assistance and concluding with synthesis and investigation of materials or research of environmental conditions;
- Language courses (including Lithuanian for foreigners);
- Other forms of services and consultancy in Humanitarian, Social, Physical and Biomedical sciences.
