Admission requirements
Vilnius University welcomes international students who are motivated for studies, have professional ambitions and can fulfil admission requirements.

The documents to be submitted:
- Application form.
- Proof of a secondary education certificate.
- Transcript of records/mark list of the secondary school.
- Certificate of recognition of the qualifications issued by Ministry of Education of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Certificate of credential evaluation issued by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education in Lithuania.
- Letter of motivation.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Copy of your passport or other document of identification.
- For the Study programmes in English: proof of proficiency in English.
- TOEFL score: 550 (PBT paper-based test) or 80 (iBT internet-based test); IELTS score: 6.
- Note: If your first language is English and/or if you have a university degree in English, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score.
- For the Study programmes in Russian: Russian language proficiency level C1.
- Note: If your first language is Russian and/or if you have a university degree in Russian, you will be exempt from providing an Russian language test score.
- Letter of evidence of adequate funds to cover tuition fees, living costs and return trip home (for non-EU citizens).
- 2 letters of reference.
- 2 recent passport size photos (3×4).
All the documents have to be either in English or Lithuanian language. Subscription of the Notary for English and Lithuanian translations of all written documents is required.
Note: All documents issued in languages other than English or Lithuanian should be supplemented with an official translation. A translation is considered to be official when it is bound to a certified true copy of the document in the original language and is attested by the translator’s signature. Documents issued in English (for programmes taught in English) or Lithuanian do not require a translation.
