Application procedure

The application with all required enclosures must be mailed via regular (air) mail or by an international courier service to:

Office of International Programmes and Relations, Universiteto 3, LT-01513 Vilnius, Lithuania

Admission criteria: grades, motivation letter, English proficiency test results (for programmes taught in English), work expierence in the field related with chosen study programme.

The university’s Admissions Commission will announce final admissions results in 40 working days after deadline. Admissions notifications will be sent by e-mail.

International students are kindly asked to contact the following two institutions as soon as possible: the nearest Lithuanian Embassy to learn visa requirements and procedures and the Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) for assessment of educational qualifications acquired abroad.

Legalisation of the educational documents

Applicants who received their education in countries acceding to the Hague 1961 Convention (e.g. Israel, Italy, United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, etc.) should have an attached “Apostille”to their educational documents. In most countries the “Apostille” is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Education.

Applicants who received their education in any other country (Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Uzbekistan, Kyrghistan, Moldavia, etc.) should pass a double legalization of their educational documents:

  • First, the educational documents should be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the diplomatic mission or consular post of the country where education was received.
  • Second, the documents should be legalized by the Lithuanian diplomatic mission or consular post in the country where education was received or in the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
