Admission requirements
Vilnius University welcomes international students who are motivated for studies, have professional ambitions and can fulfill admission requirements.
Application deadlines: for non-EU/EEA citizens – 1st May, 2012
for EU/EEA (non-Lithuanians) citizens – 15th June, 2012
The documents to be submitted:

Proof of university graduation with at least a bachelor degree or its equivalent confirmed by the govermental authorities.

Transcripts of academic records for all university courses taken confirmed by the govermental authorities.

Certificate of recognition of the qualifications issued by Ministry of Education of the Republic of Lithuania.

Certificate of credential evaluation issued by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education in Lithuania.

Letter of motivation.

Curriculum vitae.

Copy of your passport or other document of identification.

For the Study programmes in English: proof of proficiency in English.

TOEFL score: 550 (PBT paper-based test) or 80 (iBT internet-based test); IELTS score: 6.

Note: If your first language is English and/or if you have a university degree in English, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score.

For the Study programmes in Russian: Russian language proficiency level C1.

Note: If your first language is Russian and/or if you have a university degree in Russian, youwill be exempt from providing an Russian language test score.

Letter of evidence of adequate funds to cover tuition fees, living costs and return trip home (for non-EU citizens).

2 letters of reference.

2 recent passport size photos (3×4).
Note: Applicants have to fulfil general admission requirements and if it is applicable specific programme requirements. Please see the catalog of study programmes. Applicants might be asked to submit additional documents.
All the documents have to be either in English or Lithuanian language. Subscription of the Notary for English and Lithuanian translations of all written documents is required.
