For students with special needs
At the Old campus of Vilnius University you can find the information centre „Odysseus“ which was opened for VU Library users with special needs.
In the premises of VU Central Library Lending Department (Ground floor) 4 workplaces have been created supplied with compensational technique:
- 1 computerized workplace for the blind and one for the weak-eyed;
- 1 computerized workplace for people with minor motor disabilities;
- 1 non computerized workplace for work with an electronic magnifier for the weak-eyed.

Monday–Friday 09.00–20.00
Saturday 09.00–16.00

- Access to internet via special programs;
- Access to electronic VU library resources (databases, compact discs collection);
- Possibility to order publications from VU library holdings;
- Scanning of publications;
- Printing by Braille printer;
- Printing by traditional printer.
Vilnius University pays attention to students with special needs. Faculty of Philosophy, Institute of International Relations and Political Science, also International Business School has especially well-equipped environment for students with special needs.
