The journal "Ekonomika" publishes original research, theoretical articles and methodological issues of economics. Major attention is given to publications, assessing and analyzing the current economy, sectoral situation and development of business strategies for local and foreign markets, which contributes directly to Central and Eastern European economic development. In addition, the journal publishes studies which are devoted to the practical regional economic issues relating to integration into the European Union. Ekonomika additionally reviews new books and research projects. The journal is published quarterly.
The journal “Economics” (founded and published by Vilnius University) is abstracted and indexed in ProQuest, Econlit, EBSCO, IndexCopernicus (8 out of 13 points), IBSS (International Bibliography of the Social Sciences), and Google Scholar.
Economics magazine published in cooperation with Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev (Ukraine).
Papers are reviewed by at least two reviewers.
