On October 5-7, The European University Alliance Arqus will hold its first annual conference, organized by Vilnius University.
The Conference aims to refine the role of European alliances in meeting the challenges of higher education in the 21st century, changing the way universities behave, and rediscovering opportunities for cooperation. The conference will bring together key players of Arqus, rectors of Alliance universities, international experts in higher education and research, and EU higher education policy representatives. Their welcoming greetings and a special speech by higher education expert Peter van der Hijden on 5 October. will be broadcasted live on Arqus Youtube channel.
The Arqus European University Alliance brings together the universities of Bergen, Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, Padova and Vilnius. Its principal ambition is to act jointly as a laboratory for institutional learning from which to move forward in the design, testing, and implementation of an innovative model for deep inter-university cooperation.
