On August 27 Centre for Baltic and East European Studies of Södertörn University invites to the „Nordic Spaces Midway” conference.
Nordic Spaces is an international and cross-disciplinary research programme which aims at promoting new knowledge of how the Nordic region has been formed politically, socially, economically, culturally, mentally and conceptually, not least through encounters with neighbouring regions and states, over the last 200 years
In total nine research teams (projects) including over 40 scholars from ten countries and various disciplines within the humanities and social sciences are included in the programme.
The conference will take place at „Hotel Panorama” in Vilnius. Scholars from the Vilnius University are most welcome to participate during the first day of the conference (27 August) when the projects will present their on-going research. For more information about the program, see the Nordic Spaces website www.sh.se/nordicspaces and the programme of the conference.
