Psychological Support

Vilnius University students can receive professional psychological support when they experience a whole range of psychological difficulties, effecting their well-being, relationship with others, academic life and daily functioning.

We offer students up to 4 individual sessions with experienced and qualified practitioner. Sessions can be held either remotely (via MsTeams, Skype, Zoom, etc.) or face to face in counselling facilities at Faculty of Philosophy (Rooms No. 114, 116 and 412), Faculty of Physics (Room No. 112) and Faculty of Medicine (Room No. 303). Extra sessions, if needed, can be arranged for a fee depending on the qualification of the counsellor:

 MA in Psychology 20 EUR 
 At least one year of post-graduate psychotherapy studies  25 EUR
 PhD in Psychology and/or Qualification in psychotherapy   30 EUR
 Professor in Psychology and/or Lecturer at post-graduate psychotherapy studies  40 EUR 

Registration for psychological counselling sessions:

  • The administrator will contact you regarding the date and time for your appointment.
  • Taking into consideration the increased need of psychological support, the waiting period can be up to 6 weeks. We are sorry for the inconvenience it may cause for you.

Seminars and workshops are regularly organized for Vilnius University community members on topics related to mental health issues including coping with stress, reducing procrastination, self-discovery, creativity development, psychological crisis management and many more.
