First Class of MBA Entrepreneurship Graduates Received Their Diplomas
MBA Entrepreneurship Program at Vilnius University Business School is a unique program: it is the only MBA program at Vilnius University aimed at developing entrepreneurial rather than general managerial competences. This July, VU Business School awarded diplomas to its very first MBA Entrepreneurship graduates.
“The best thing about MBA Entrepreneurship is certainly the people. I couldn’t ask for a better community in terms of students and faculty. By working with my peers, I learned something new about myself and about diverse ways of thinking every week. It's these synergies that have helped me to grow as a person and as a leader. I’m delighted I made the decision to pursue an MBA journey and with the right mind-set I know future students will enjoy and grow from the experience, too,” said Vytenis Mockus, a young entrepreneur and one of the recent graduates of MBA Entrepreneurship Program.
Diplomas to the MBA Entrepreneurship graduates were conferred during a graduation ceremony by Amir Maimon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Lithuania, Mariano Andrade Gonzalez, Head of Vilnius Office of the International Capital Markets Company Moody's, and Dr. Birutė Miškinienė, VU Business School Director.
“At the beginning of this academic year while starting MBA Entrepreneurship Program, I said I had a dream about MBA Program in Entrepreneurship. Now, the first graduates of this program are holding diplomas in their hands, and I believe that entrepreneurship has become their lifestyle, ‘ said Dr. Birutė Miškinienė, VU Business School Director.
