Step into the world of the ongoing war and witness the daily sacrifices made by Ukrainians in their fight for freedom. The "Unissued Diplomas" exhibition is a poignant reminder of the students who will never graduate due to the Russian invasion.

This exhibition uncovers the heart-wrenching stories of 40 Ukrainian students who were tragically killed in the war. The Unissued Diplomas initiative was established in 2023, with 110 exhibitions held in 24 different countries to raise awareness of this somber reality.

Imagine the lives these students once lived. Spending their days in study halls, attending their favorite classes and dreading the weekly exams. The fear of failing a midterm was their biggest worry back then.

However, since February 24, 2022, everything has changed for Ukrainian students. Their classrooms have transformed into bomb shelters and battlefields, and the fear that once controlled them has now been replaced by bravery and courage.

Sadly, for some of these students, their dreams of graduating will never become a reality. Russia's attempt to take Ukraine's freedom has cost the lives of these young, talented individuals.

Join us for the opening of the "Unissued Diplomas" exhibition on February 26 at 12:00 in Vilnius University's Central Palace. Let us honor the memory of these students and remind the world of the ongoing war and its devastating impact on Ukraine.

Place: Vilnius University's Central Palace (Universiteto St. 3)
Start: February 26, 12:00, 2024
