Baltic Sea Region Interreg project: Baltic Sea Underground Innovation Network. 2017–2020.

The purpose of the project is to develop a service offering of Baltic Sea Region’s (BSR) underground laboratories (UL) in order to develop their capability to offer technology transfer utilizing the facilities and research infrastructures of the ULs for business development.

Partners: Vilnius University (Lithuania); University of Oulu (Finland), Kerttu Saalasti Institute (Finland), Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland), NCE Media (Norway).

The project aims at creating a regional policy-mix tool and mission-oriented networks for the successful integration of disruptive technologies in the regions. The Consortium plans to establish stakeholder alliances consisting of local government officials, universities, business associations. The key method in this will be exchanging the best practices and experiences concerning the best policy instrument to be shared to improve governance in all regions.

Erasmus + project. Teaching Institutional Resilience and Prompt Reaction to Crisis: Good Governance Experiences in Europe. 2020–2022.
Partners: University of Iceland (Iceland), University of Zagreb (Croatia), Academia De Studii Economice Din Bucuresti and Omega Trust Srl (Romania), Vilnius University (Lithuania), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain).

The project contributes to a better understanding of good governance, especially in times of crisis, and to optimal ways to build institutional resilience through the cooperation of public and private actors in society.

JOINT RESEARCH – ENGAGEMENT – DELIVERY RESEARCH CENTRE

Vilnius University Business School and Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) established a joint Research, Engagement and Delivery Research Centre (RED). It is a unique strategic partnership aiming to shared focus and expertise in the areas of entrepreneurship, family business and innovation. It puts in place an initial two-year agreement, which will see LUMS establish a base on the Vilnius Business School campus to pursue opportunities for collaborative research and support for high-growth businesses.
