On May 21 at 2:30 p.m., we invite you to an open lecture, “Youth Mental Health in Times of Crisis: from Stress to Resilience.” The lecture will be given by Assoc. Prof. Inga Truskauskaitė (Vilnius University Faculty of Philosophy).

About the lecture:
Young people are disproportionately affected by mental health challenges. Yet, periods of crisis, whether pandemic, war, or geopolitical instability, do not affect all of them equally. This talk will explore who is most at risk during times of collective stress, what factors shape resilience, and what evidence-based approaches can support youth wellbeing when the world feels unpredictable and unsafe. Drawing on longitudinal research and clinical experience, the presentation bridges research findings with practical implications for mental health professionals, educators, and policymakers working with young people.
