The seminar, organized by the VU Cartography Department in cooperation with the Confucius Institute, will explore how Chinese cartography—from early silk maps of the Han Dynasty to the landscape-inspired mapping traditions of the Song, Ming, and Qing Dynasties—has been used to construct narratives of governance and identity.
Dr. Yufei Wang is an Assistant Professor at Vilnius University Business School and a PhD in Business whose academic reach extends well beyond modern commerce into the profound depths of Chinese cultural and historical studies.
