TURBULENCES | Theatre Royal of Liege University (TURLg) play
“Turbulences” is a play about an airplane crew that flies passengers, but does not know where or why, is not guided by anyone, and has no flight landmarks. But life goes on, the earth rotates, passengers arrive and depart, they need to be taken care of and flown. And how else? It is a story about people who are lost, but must continue to fly.
The performance is the first directing experience of Nicolas Innocent and Maxime Vallette. The troupe began creating the performance by improvising and experimenting, and combined the created images into a coherent story, hoping that the audience would find similarities with the participants in this performance - the flight. To make everyone feel more at ease, a safety measure - a parachute - will be used in the performance.
