THE SEASONS

A Theatrical Musical Performance

Director Felicija Feiferė

Performed by:
Vilnius University Drama Theatre
Vilnius University Song and Dance Ensemble

Created especially for the opening of the XIII World Congress of the International University Theatre Association and the International University Theatre Festival, The Seasons invites audiences to discover Lithuania through its nature, culture, and traditions.

Artists from the Vilnius University Drama Theatre and the Vilnius University Song and Dance Ensemble come together in a unified performance built around the cycle of the four seasons. Through their changing rhythms, audiences are introduced to the symbols, values, and traditions that have shaped Lithuanian cultural identity for generations.

Throughout the evening, harmonised Lithuanian folk songs, live music, theatre, and dance intertwine to tell stories of memory, community, creativity, and hope. Traditional motifs meet contemporary artistic expression, creating a vibrant and immersive cultural experience for local and international audiences alike.

Wednesday, 8 July 2026, 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Vilnius University Theatre Hall (Universiteto St. 3)
Duration: 1 hour
