“Sistere tempus” (Latin for “to stop time”) is an absurd comedy that maneuvers between reality and theatre, between the existence of fictional characters and real people, between the flow of time and its stopping. The focus of the performance is a new invention by scientists that allows anyone who has it to stop time at any time. The Future Humans corporation is filming an advertisement for the device, which is directed and edited in real time by artificial intelligence. The absurd, comical and sometimes illogical scenes reveal not only the real faces of people, their desires and secrets, but also the irresistible desire to stop and start living more slowly.
