Partial studies student scholarship
The Partial studies student scholarship is granted to students from foreign higher education institutions that have signed bilateral cooperation agreements with Vilnius University. It supports students coming to VU for one or two semesters of studies.
Intended for students who
Are enrolled in first-cycle, second-cycle, integrated, or third-cycle studies.
Come from foreign universities that have bilateral cooperation agreements with VU.
Study at VU for one or two semesters.
Scholarship amount and payment procedure
Amount:
- For first-cycle, second-cycle, and integrated studies students: 1.5 BSI per month.
- For third-cycle students: the amount is determined by the Lithuanian Government’s regulation on support for doctoral and professional studies.
Payment:
- Paid monthly by the 15th of each month.
- Awarded for the number of months the student studies at VU.
Termination:
- Payment is stopped from the beginning of the current month if the student terminates studies or leaves before the payment date.
- If the student leaves after the payment date, payment stops from the following month.

No, it is only for students coming under bilateral agreements.
