Scholarship for achievements in sports
The scholarship is awarded to Vilnius University students who have achieved outstanding sporting achievements representing the university and through active participation in university sports teams or individual sports.

Students who have achieved significant results and successes representing Vilnius University in competitions.
Scholarship amount and payment procedure
Amount: The scholarship amount ranges from 2 to 15 basic social benefits (BSB).
The BSB is set at EUR 74 as of January 2026.
Payment: The scholarship is awarded no more than once per semester. In the fall semester, it is paid in December, and in the spring semester, in May.
Who can nominate candidates?
- Leaders and members of sports teams at the University Health and Sports Center.
- Other members of the Health and Sports Center and the university community.
- Students themselves, by submitting an application through the VU study information system.
