Scholarship for research achievements – awarded to students of the first cycle, second cycle, integrated, professional pedagogy and residency study programmes who are distinguished for their mature research activities.
Intended for students who:
Actively participates in scientific research or projects
Have published scientific articles or presented papers at conferences
Has good academic results
You can submit recommendations from lecturers or researchers.
Evaluation criteria
Publications
Articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals (especially international ones indexed in databases).
Conference presentations, publications in collections.
Research projects
Participation in national or international research projects.
Contribution to project results.
Innovations and patents
Developed technologies, patents, inventions.
Extra points
Long-term scientific activity.
Participation in several initiatives at the same time.
Exceptional recommendations.
Scholarship amount and payment procedure
Amount: The amount of the scholarship ranges from 2 BSB to 15 BSB. Currently, 1 BSB is 70 EUR.
Payment: The fall semester scholarship is paid in December, and the spring semester scholarship is paid in June.
Applications:
- Students wishing to receive a scholarship must submit an application at the eStudent environment by 10 November in the Autumn semester and by 10 May in the Spring semester.
- The application shall be accompanied by a detailed description of the student’s research activities and documents supporting achievements in research activities (copies of published or accepted publication articles, conference presentation abstracts, project works, diplomas, recommendations, etc.).

Can I apply if I don't have any publications yet, but am participating in a project?
Yes, if you are actively involved in a scientific project, this can be considered a significant scientific achievement. It is important to provide supporting documents (project description, supervisor's recommendation, etc.).
Can a scholarship be awarded together with an incentive scholarship?
Yes, these scholarships are not mutually exclusive. If you meet the criteria for both scholarships, you can receive both at the same time.
Do I need to apply every semester?
Yes, you must submit an application during the selection process for each semester, as scholarships are awarded for a specific period and the most recent achievements are evaluated.
