Scholarship for social activities

Scholarship for social activities – awarded to students for individual achievements that contribute to the creation of future society, solving societal problems, achieving the goals set out in the strategic plan of the University and other accomplishments that promote the name of the University.

Intended for students who:

Participates in organizations, initiatives, or projects at the university, city, national, or international level.

Contributes to promoting the name of Vilnius University and the welfare of society.

Organizes events, projects, campaigns, or actively participates in cultural, sporting, or social activities.

Scholarship amount and payment procedure

Amount: The amount of a scholarship ranges from 2 BSB to 15 BSB. Currently, 1 BSB is 70 EUR.

Payment: The fall semester scholarship is paid in December, and the spring semester scholarship is paid in May.

Applications: 

  • Students wishing to receive scholarship must submit an application at the eStudent environment by 25 October in the Autumn semester and by 25 March in the Spring semester. 
  • The application must be accompanied by a detailed description of the student’s activities for which the scholarship is requested, and specify the periods, scope and relevance of the activities to the society or promotion of the name of the University. Recommendations, documents supporting the activities, etc. can also be provided.
