Summer School in Entrepreneurship Research

The University of Granada opens the call for applications for the Granada International Doctoral Summer School in Entrepreneurship Research (GIDSSER), which will take place from 14th to 17th of June, 2022, in Granada (Spain).

This summer school aims to provide an opportunity for PhD students and researchers in entrepreneurship to expand their knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship as a societal phenomenon. Some of these topics include social entrepreneurship, the role of context in entrepreneurship research, identity and gender in entrepreneurship, inequality and entrepreneurship, as well as sustainability and entrepreneurship.

In the session dedicated to each topic, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the state of the art, commonly used methods and theories, and potential new directions for research. This summer school also offers participants the opportunity to network with colleagues and leading researchers in the field, explore new avenues of thought, learn collectively, and exchange ideas.

  • Matthew Grimes (Cambridge University, UK).
  • Claire Leitch (Lancaster University, UK).
  • Miruna Radu-Lefebvre (Audencia Business School, France).
  • Jeffrey York (University Colorado Boulder, US).

Application deadline: 20th of March.

Registration fees (materials, attendance and social events):

For PhD students: 190 € (5 scholarships offered for non-funded students).
For researchers: 350 €.
