At a meeting with Jesuit Priest James Martin – a conversation about working with LGBT people

The Chaplain of Vilnius University (VU) Eugenijus Puzynia SJ and the pastoral care team invite you to a remote meeting with Jesuit priest Fr James Martin from the US. Fr Martin will share with the VU community his experience of 20 years of working with LGBT people and will answer questions.

James Martin SJ is a Jesuit priest, writer and editor-at-large of the Jesuit magazine America. In 2017, Pope Francis appointed him a consultant to the Vatican’s Secretariat for Communications. He is one of the New York Times’ best-selling authors and a commentator on the life and teachings of Jesus, and on Ignatian spirituality on various television and radio programmes. One of his most recent books is Building a Bridge: How the Catholic Church and the LGBT Community Can Enter into a Relationship of Respect, Compassion, and Sensitivity.
