Vilnius University Held Co-Creation Labs in Practice for Arqus Researchers

000ARIn March, Vilnius University held two Arqus R&I mini-webinars on "Co-Creation Labs in Practice: Co-creating, Implementing, and Learning from Social-Oriented Science Activities". The webinars were joined by Arqus researchers from all career stages, disciplines, and cross-disciplinary research fields from Vilnius, Granada, Padua, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, and Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University.


On 6 March, Prof. Esteban Romero-Frías (University of Granada) started the first seminar, "Innovation labs on climate change". Assoc. Prof. Erika Vaiginiene (Vilnius University) presented a topic of Lithuanian 2050 strategy, "Lithuania 2050: Co-Creation at the national level". The last presentation, "Urban Co-Creation in Pratice" by Prof. Anke Strüver (University of Graz) was followed by a Q&A session and discussion.


The second event on 20 March was launched by Prof. Enrico Rubaltelli (University of Padova) with a presentation, "Udul - You drink, You lose, in partnership with the Municipality of Padua". Caterina Pozzan (University of Padova) followed with "LEAN & SAFETY CHRONIC CARE: improving chronic care pathways with Lean and safety management, in partnership with the public local health unit ULSS 2 Marca Trevigiana". The third session was given by Prof. Christian Pentzold (Leipzig University) on "Creating Co-Creation. Reflections on Participation and Storytelling around the Smart Home". Prof. Giancarlo Renella (University of Padova) finalised the seminar with "SOILBANK: Investing on the soil. Management of organic matter and water resources as the basis of large-scale ecosystem services".

All in all, the events were joined by 45 attendees from Germany, France, Lithuania, Spain and Italy. The webinars were organised in the framework of the Arqus Research & Innovation project. The first webinar was held on 6 March 2023, and the second on 20 March.
