Welcoming Event for Doctoral Students

On October 26th, an integration event for Vilnius University (VU) doctoral students took place in the VU Theatre Hall. During this event, participants were invited to get to know each other and discuss.

The event was opened by VU's Pro-Rector for Research, Prof. Edita Sužiedėlienė, who encouraged the doctoral students to seize every opportunity to participate in academic events. The Doctoral Studies Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Mariana Sueldo conducted an interactive presentation in which she shared insights about the collaboration between doctoral students and their mentors, emphasizing the importance of feedback.

Over 70 VU doctoral students attended the event and engaged in discussions with each other, as well as with representatives from various doctoral programme committees, VU Students' Representation, and the Department of Doctoral and Postdoctoral Studies.
