Aim of the study programme – to prepare qualified specialists in the field of accounting, auditing, taxes, as well as company performance analysis, planning and evaluation, who are able to formulate accounting information and systematically evaluate data; to familiarize students with the mechanisms of organizing and performing of audit, allowing them to creatively apply the gained knowledge.

Candidates with at least overall grade average of 60 % are eligible.

If your qualification and motivation meet the requirements, you will receive an invitation for an interview with the Admissions Committee.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian.

Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

Translation is considered to be official when it is bound together with the certified true copy of the original document and is confirmed by the translator’s signature. Documents issued in English, Lithuanian must be certified true copies and do not require translation.

The following language certificates are accepted for study programmes taught in English: IELTS Academic 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 81+, Cambridge English Exam 176+, Pearson PTE Academic 59+, LanguageCert IESOL B2, Duolingo English Test 120+, Password Skills Plus 6.5+ or another language proficiency certificate equivalent to B2 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

If your first language is English and/or if you have a university degree in English, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score.

When choosing a study programme, consider whether the subjects match your interests and strengths, as this will keep you motivated. You should also think about career opportunities, costs, and whether the programme fits your long-term goals.

Keep in mind that each applicant can choose up to three study programmes in one application, but you can only get admitted to one programme.

The application to the international bachelor's or integrated studies degree programmes must be submitted on apply.vu.lt

The application fee is 100 EUR per application. The invoice is paid after adding the programmes to the application. Application fee payments are accepted only through the Flywire payment platform.

An online application will be processed only after the application fee is collected and the application is submitted with all the required documents. All documents must be submitted before the application submission deadline; otherwise, the application is terminated.

Your application will be assessed within 30 calendar days from the date all required documents are submitted (this period may be extended in specific cases).

Acceptance letters or rejection notifications will be sent via the online application system https://apply.vu.lt.

Students are obliged to confirm if they accept the study offer within 7 working days.

Students who are citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area countries and of other foreign countries, admitted to non-state-funded places in the first year of first-cycle and second-cycle studies through the University’s foreign student application system, must pay the annual tuition fee within 15 calendar days from the date of the offer to study.

The information about the tuition fee refund policy

After the student pays the tuition fee, he receives the final acceptance letter. Then our International Relations Office provides the necessary information related to obtaining a temporary residence permit in Lithuania and sends a mediation letter to the student by e-mail (for non-EU citizens).

Students who are citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area countries and of other foreign countries, admitted to non-state-funded places in the first year of first-cycle and second-cycle studies through the University’s foreign student application system, must pay the annual tuition fee within 15 calendar days from the date of the offer to study.

I am studying Accounting and Audit at Vilnius University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Although I wasn't completely sure about my choice when I was selecting my programme, I can now confidently say that I wouldn't change anything, and that I am exactly where I want to be. This programme has helped me see things from different perspectives. It is aimed at training professionals, and in just a few years of studies, I have already learned how to apply what we are learning in practice, understand how it operates in real companies, and ease my entry into the job market after completing the studies. It's worth emphasizing that there are opportunities to test yourself in different areas, whether they involve scientific, project or social activities, or even to travel abroad and apply your knowledge in a practical setting. Therefore, all things considered, I can definitely say that I enjoy studying here.

I will admit - when graduating from high school, like most of my peers, I was not sure about the field of study - I fluctuated between economics, law, political science, management. However, the fact that I graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration with a bachelor's and a master's degree and later defended my dissertation only confirms that I made the right choice.

In the first weeks of my studies, I realized that I like science, and the flexibility of the faculty and the opportunities for additional activities ensure my full development. I will never forget the first session when a math teacher evaluated my efforts during the semester, waived an exam, and wrote a ten. I also will never forget the first days of the faculty event „Mercury days“ together with the student representative office - how we flew around the dormitory of Saulėtekis in order to make the letters VU EF shine in its windows.

In the subsequent courses, the opportunity to combine studies and work was very important, and during the lectures to analyze the practical situations I encounter at work. There were no major problems here either, and as one of the most interesting master's projects, I remember a study by myself and several group members about myself as a "brand": the teacher gave us the task of choosing and analyzing how a brand works, and we are we decided that it would be very interesting to analyze ourselves - after all, each of us has a certain education, experience, knowledge, skills, which we "sell" in the labor market. Maybe it's possible to measure? We wanted to know that and, of course, try our "brands
