
Innovative Communication and Entrepreneurship
The Innovative Communication and Entrepreneurship (ICEA) study programme integrates creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, and contemporary communication across diverse fields. You will begin by developing core academic skills alongside knowledge in entrepreneurship and networking technologies. As you progress, your studies will focus on innovation and business model development, integrated communication, and audience analysis. Throughout the programme, you will further develop your understanding of research methods, digital content creation, leadership, and sustainable business development. The internship and final thesis will provide opportunities to apply these competencies real-world settings, putting gained theoretical knowledge into practice.

The studies of Innovative Communication and Entrepreneurship combine creativity, enterprise skills and modern communication in different fields. You will start with the academic part, entrepreneurship and networking technologies, and later move on to innovation and business model development, integrated communication, and audience analysis. During your studies you will combine knowledge of research methods, digital content, leadership and sustainable business development. Internship and final thesis will help you apply the acquired knowledge in real-life projects.
- Students will understand traditional and digital communication theories and their impact on society and business, and will be able to critically analyse media content.
- Students will possess skills in content creation and project management, and will be able to plan and implement communication campaigns that drive innovation and organisational growth.
- Students will have knowledge of entrepreneurship, management, and marketing for business development analysis and strategy creation for start-ups and organisations; will be able to make sustainable decisions and adapt to change.
- Students will possess data analysis skills, including the application of research methods, interpretation of results, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Students will have intercultural communication and teamwork experience, enabling effective communication in diverse cultural settings, collaboration, team leadership, and partnership with various stakeholders; will be committed to acting responsibly, upholding professional ethical principles and respect for human rights, and to continuous professional development, staying informed about market and technology trends and applying creative solutions.
Entry qualification
High school / secondary education (or higher)
Applicants with an overall grade average of at least 70% are eligible for admission.
N.B. for non-EU/EFTA applicants: the gap since your completed secondary degree should not exceed five years.
Applicants are required to submit a motivational letter explaining their motives to study the “Innovative Communication and Entrepreneurship” study programme
All applicants, who meet the formal admission requirements, will be invited for an interview with a Faculty member.
Language requirements
English
The following language certificates are accepted for study programmes taught in English: IELTS Academic 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 81+, Cambridge English Exam 176+, Pearson PTE Academic 59+, LanguageCert IESOL B2, Duolingo English Test 120+, Password Skills Plus 6.5+ or another language proficiency certificate equivalent to B2 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
If your first language is English and/or if you have a university degree in English, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score.
Other requirements
Your arithmetic average across the learning outcomes must be at least 70% of the maximum possible score.
You are also required to submit a motivational letter explaining why you want to study the “Innovative Communication and Entrepreneurship” study programme.
Territory requirements
Applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan must submit OMPT-E (Online Mathematics Placement Test) Certificate (minimum passing grade – 55%). More information here.

Tuition fee
Students who are citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area countries and of other foreign countries, admitted to non-state-funded places in the first year of first-cycle and second-cycle studies through the University’s foreign student application system, must pay the annual tuition fee within 15 calendar days from the date of the offer to study.
After the student pays the tuition fee, he receives the final acceptance letter. Then our International Relations Office provides the necessary information related to obtaining a temporary residence permit in Lithuania and sends a mediation letter to the student by e-mail (for non-EU citizens).
Application fee
The application fee is €100 per application. Each applicant can choose up to three programmes within one application.
Online applications will only be processed once the application fee has been paid.
Please note that the application fee is non-refundable. Make sure you read the admission requirements and deadlines carefully before submitting your application, as the fee cannot be refunded if you are found to be ineligible or miss a deadline.
