If you want to learn from leading finance professionals and explore the world of financial systems — from central banks and monetary policy to corporate finance management — this programme could be the next step in your academic and professional journey.

Students say that this programme inspires them because it offers:

• the opportunity to immediately apply in practice what they learn about business models, products, accounting, and financial management;
• a well-balanced curriculum that combines financial knowledge with business management and innovation studies;
• the supportive and vibrant Vilnius University Business School community, where you can meet future business partners and colleagues;
• the development of creative thinking — even in areas traditionally considered “numbers-based.”

In every business, there is someone who sees possibilities where others see only numbers — a person who brings business ideas to life and helps them grow. That person is a finance professional.

The Finance Study Programme provides relevant, up-to-date, and practice-oriented knowledge that you can apply daily — whether you are managing a company’s finances or building your own business. The competencies you gain here will help you grow into a confident, forward-looking finance specialist ready to take on leadership roles.

What makes this programme unique:

Entrepreneurial mindset and challenge-based learning (CBL): You will learn to apply theory in real-life situations, develop problem-solving skills, and make decisions typical of leaders and managers.
Modular study structure: Instead of six separate 5-credit subjects per semester, you will study three comprehensive 10-credit modules. Each module integrates related topics and develops specific competences, ensuring a deeper and more coherent learning experience.
Flexible study pathway: You can tailor your studies to your personal interests and career goals through a range of elective courses.

All courses will be taught in English and/or delivered online, offering additional flexibility and an international learning experience.

Starting from the second semester, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of a new individual study option — to choose a portion of courses (from 10% to 25% of your programme) that will be integrated into your study plan.

This opportunity is available to all students who enrolled in any Vilnius University bachelor’s or integrated study programme in 2023.
