Contractual Research

The legal research expertize to the Constitutional Court of Lithuania on Issues of the Law of Personal Insolvency provided by Dr. J. Namavičius. Expert opinion concerning the Law of Personal Insolvency regarding cases No. 12/2015, 13/2016.

The legal research expertize to the Lithuanian Parliament (Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs) on Issues of the System of Fines in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania provided by Dr. J. Namavičius and Dr. G. Sakalauskas. Expert opinion in regard of the Amendments (Draft Law No. XIIIP-1066) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, concerning the system of fines.

The legal research expertize to the Lithuanian Parliament on Issues of Criminal Law provided by Prof. Habil. Dr. G. Švedas. Expert opinion of the Amendments (Draft Legal Act No. XIII-708) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. On the basis on legal research and expert findings, the Amendments of the Legal Act No. XII-1818 on the Penal Sanction Enforcement Code were adopted and entered into force.

The legal research expertize to the Lithuanian Notaries’ Chamber on Issues related to the application of the Law on prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing to the activities of Notaries in the Republic of Lithuania provided by Prof. Habil. Dr. G. Švedas. Consultative scientific opinion (report) on the application of the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing in the Republic of Lithuania regarding the activities of notaries was presented to the Lithuanian Notaries’ Chamber. In addition, in order to remove the shortcomings of the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing identified in the investigation, proposals for amendments to the said law were drafted, which were passed to the Financial Crime Investigation Service, the Law Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament.

The Hundred Years of Independence Act of 1918: A Retrospective and Perspective of Lithuania’s Constitutional and Public Law. Contractual Research

The legal research expertize to the Constitutional Court of Lithuania on Issues of Constitutional Law provided by Prof. Dr. E. Šileikis.

The expert conclusion (based om legal research) to the Lithuanian Institute of Agrarian Economics towards the preparation of scientific study on Models for Rational Financial Management and Transformation of Legal Relations of Land Reclamation. Legal - scientific advice (consultation) was provided by Dr. L. Paškevičienė.

The legal research expertize to the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuania on the draft law of the Working Regulation of the Competition Council provided by Assoc. prof. Dr. L. Butkevičius.

Independent scientific research under the Publishing agreement of 3 September 2016 with Informa UK limited (Routledge): State Compensation to the victims of the Nazi and Communist Regimes: interface between International and Domestic Law. The research work provided by Dr. N. Bruskina. The monograph will be presented to the publishing house in 2018.
