General Figures of Vilnius University

Vilnius University has 11 Faculties, Life Sciences Centre, Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Business School, Šiauliai Academy, one of the oldest Libraries in Lithuania, the Astronomical Observatory, the Botanical Garden, Centre of Information Technology Development, and two hospitals. In 2021, there were 22 414 students at the University, 13 521 of them in undergraduate studies, 3 866 in graduate studies, and 3 417 in integrated studies. There were 823 MDs in residency, 787 doctoral students, research and teaching is carried out by 3 088 specialists, 2 202 of them teachers, 886 scholars, including 2 073 habilitated doctors and doctors.
