Determination of stimulated emission threshold of organic compounds in solutions and films using thin stipe method. One sample per measurement.

Compounds should exhibit strong absorption at excitation wavelength, emit light in the spectral range from 196 nm to 957 nm, dissolve in common organic solvents (acetone, THF, toluene, DMSO, DMF, ethanol, methanol and etc.)
For excitation picosecond Nd:YAG laser (1-3 harmonics) are used. Excitation power density up to 100 MW/cm2

Application. Characterization of stimulated emission threshold of new organic compounds will enable to evaluate their potential for applications in organic lasers.
