Research of fluorescence quenching of organic compounds by incorporating molecules into polystyrene matrix of different weight percentages and measuring optical properties such as fluorescence spectra, fluorescence quantum yield and lifetime.

Weight percentage in polystyrene: 0.06% - 100% (neat film).
One sample per measurement.
Quantum yield measurement accuracy of 5%.
Wavelength range: 196 nm – 957 nm.

Application. Characterization of the concentration at which fluorescence quenching starts of new organic compounds will enable to evaluate their potential for applications in organic electronic devices (organic light emitting diodes, organic solar cells, sensors).
