Traditional Systems of Knowledge in Asia. Prof. A. Beinorius. 2007–2014.

During the research year 2013, a team of scholars of the Centre proceeded with investigations in research program Traditional Systems of Knowledge in Asia. Emphasis was laid on historical, cultural and anthropological aspects of traditional Asian cultures (India, China, Japan, Central Asia and Middle East), on methodological analysis of the traditional systems of knowledge in Asia (literature, astrology and medicine, philosophy and religion, art and architecture). The proceedings of the research were included into seminars and public lectures, published in the national and international academic editions. One translation from Sanskrit (Upanishads, annotated trans. from Sanskrit with Introduction by Audrius Beinorius) was published.
