The end of the semester
There are some important things students should be aware of at the end of semester and/or before leaving Vilnius University.
Examination Results and Transcript of Records
The results of all passed exams will be recorded by lecturers in the University database (VU IS) within 5 days after the official date of the exam.
The Student’s Transcript of Records (ToR) will be issued automatically from the University database as soon as all examination data has been recorded. Usually, ToRs are issued within two weeks after the end of a semester:
- mid-February for the Autumn semester
- mid-July for the Spring semester
Once the document is ready, it will be sent to your and your coordinator’s email addresses.
If necessary, a hard copy of the document can also be sent to your address.
Students who arrived for the whole academic year will receive their ToRs after both semesters have been completed.
Confirmation of Study Period
Confirmations of the study period can be issued at the end of your semester. The documents are signed digitally, therefore please send the required document to us by email.

Did you enjoy your stay at Vilnius University? In order to improve our work, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire which will be sent to you by email at the end of the semester.
