Apply for the Arqus Micro-Credential in Microbial Agents in Bioremediation

Pre-registration for the Arqus micro-credential Microbial Agents in Bioremediation is open until 17 September 2026 at 12:30 CEST. The fully online course will take place from 1 October to 3 December 2026 and is designed for graduates, researchers and professionals interested in microbiology, biotechnology and sustainable approaches to environmental pollution.

How can microorganisms help tackle environmental pollution? The Arqus micro-credential Microbial Agents in Bioremediation explores the use of microbial agents and innovative biotechnological approaches in pollution prevention and remediation.

The course combines knowledge from microbiology, synthetic biology and environmental bioremediation, offering advanced training in sustainable strategies for pollution mitigation.

Delivered entirely online through live, synchronous sessions, the course allows participants to join an international learning environment from wherever they are.

The course is intended for candidates who hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and have a relevant academic or professional background. A maximum of 25 participants will be admitted.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive 5 ECTS, an official diploma, an Open Badge and a joint micro-credential issued by the University of Wrocław and the University of Padua.
