Arqus Invites Students to Apply for Summer Research Stays in Granada

During July 2026, the Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) in Granada will host national and international students whose research interests are aligned with the work carried out at the centre.

CIMCYC offer placements for 9 students from outside the University of Granada who have completed at least 50% of the total credits required for their bachelor’s degree programme, who will receive a scholarship of 1600 €. from the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Granada and the option to apply for a travel allowance from CIMCYC of up to 200 euros for EU citizens (not residing in Spain) and up to 400 euros for non-EU citizens.

Students will join CIMCYC research groups working in areas such as health psychology and behavioural medicine, psychology of social problems, cognitive neuroscience, human psychophysiology and health, modelling and measurement of human behaviour, memory and language, human brain and cognition, and psychoeducational intervention for specific educational support needs.

In addition to lab-based activities, visiting students will take part in training sessions, language exchanges, activities with researchers from other groups at the centre, and social events, including a group visit to the Alhambra.
