Arqus Programme Explores How to Lead Innovation in Uncertain Environments

Arqus offers the “Leading Innovation Management” micro-credential, designed to strengthen the strategic and leadership capabilities needed to manage innovation in dynamic and uncertain environments and to develop strategies that create lasting value for organisations and society.
The programme focuses on the role of leadership in transforming ideas into impactful solutions, managing disruptive technologies and fostering collaboration across sectors. Particular attention is given to responsible and sustainable innovation and to the ways in which these principles can be integrated into strategic decision-making.
Participants will explore approaches linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and gain an introduction to sustainability assessment tools, including Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing and Social Life Cycle Assessment.
The programme combines Vilnius University’s expertise in innovation management and technology transfer with Maynooth University’s focus on sustainability and social innovation. This joint approach provides an international perspective on responsible, ethical and future-oriented innovation leadership and its application in real-world contexts.
A strong emphasis is placed on practical learning. Throughout the programme, participants will work in teams on a live innovation challenge, applying the tools and approaches introduced during the course to a real-world problem and presenting their strategy to peers and experts. The international Arqus setting will also provide opportunities to collaborate and exchange perspectives across European universities.
