Join the Webinar on Research Security and Global Partnerships

Research security has rapidly become a central issue for universities, research organisations, companies and funding bodies. It is increasingly shaping international collaboration, institutional risk management and the day-to-day support provided to researchers.
This webinar, organised by the University of Graz and funded by the Arqus Innovation Fund (2025 call), will offer a structured introduction to research security and provide practical insights from Austria and selected EU Member States.
The discussion will also position European developments within a broader international context, including approaches adopted in Canada and across the G7. As the first event in the Research Security webinar series, the session aims to strengthen expert engagement in this field and to draw on practical experience of cooperation with individual universities.
In response to strong interest from practitioners, particular attention will be given to research collaboration in international settings as a cross-cutting theme. The webinar will connect policy developments with institutional practice and address common questions related to partnerships, due diligence and risk awareness.
The event is intended for researchers, students, research managers, R&I leaders, compliance and legal professionals, representatives of international offices, project coordinators and all those working in or interested in research security.
The session will take place on 12 March from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. Registration is available here. More information about the event can be found here.
