Discover Vilnius University Up Close: VU Museum Invites Students to Free Guided Tours

During Integration Week (7–10 September), Vilnius University Museum invites all students to explore Vilnius University and discover some of its most significant spaces. The guided tours will take you to places that reveal different aspects of the University’s history and present-day life: the Central Campus and the Saulėtekis Campus.

At the Central Campus – Traces of Vilnius University History

During the tours, you will explore the historic VU ensemble, its courtyards, key events and prominent figures. You will also have the opportunity to climb the bell tower of St John’s Church and enjoy panoramic views of Vilnius from the highest point in the Old Town.

Saulėtekis Campus of Vilnius University – for Science and the World

The Saulėtekis Campus reveals another side of VU’s history. Developed during the Soviet era, the campus today brings together faculties, research centres, modern laboratories and the everyday life of the University community. During the tour, you will discover the architecture, history of the campus and learn more about what student life at VU looks like today.
