The VU Community Is Invited to Take Part in the Annual Clean-up Event

Vilnius University (VU) community is invited to participate in the annual spring clean-up event #VUŠVARU, which will take place on 23 April this year. Participants will not only engage in meaningful, environmentally beneficial activities but also take part in a contest – the participant with the most interesting find will receive a subscription to the VU Health and Sport Center.

Employees and students alike are welcome to participate in the clean-up event, which will take place on 23 April (Thursday) from 9:00 to 12:00. We will provide the necessary supplies, transport to the location, and a hearty lunch!

Registration is required so that we can prepare the necessary supplies.

This year we invite you not only to clean up but also to participate in the photo contest #VUŠVARU: Most Interesting Find. Take a photo of the most surprising, interesting, or entertaining object found during the event and email it to us to get a chance to win the prize – a one-month subscription to the VU Health and Sport Center, granting access to all training sessions.

A separate transport is organised for participants at 8:15 from the garage on M. K. Čiurlionio Street and from the Central Campus (Daukanto Square).

This year’s goal is simple: each unit should delegate at least one colleague. Or even better – bring a colleague with you. Invite colleagues from across the University and dedicate a few hours to a meaningful time together.
