The University of Minho is organising the EEG Research Day 2026, which will take place on 27 March 2026 at the Gualtar Campus in Braga, Portugal. This strategic annual initiative reflects the University’s strong commitment to internationalisation, European cooperation, and research excellence, in line with the objectives of the Arqus European University Alliance and the Erasmus+ Programme.

The EEG Research Day provides a structured platform for the presentation and dissemination of research, the encouragement of interdisciplinary dialogue, and the strengthening of sustainable academic collaboration within the University of Minho and across European partner institutions. By bringing together graduate researchers from different universities, the event contributes to a shared European academic space grounded in cooperation, quality, and intellectual exchange.

The Call for Participation is open to Master’s and doctoral students whose research aligns with the academic fields represented at the University of Minho, including Economics, Management, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, European Studies, as well as interdisciplinary research addressing societal, economic, and governance challenges in a European or global context.

Participants are invited to submit an extended abstract presenting original research, work in progress, or advanced research projects. Abstracts must not exceed 1,500 words and should clearly outline the research objectives, methodology, and key findings or expected outcomes. Submissions are to be written in English; in exceptional cases, research developed within programmes taught in Portuguese may be considered. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process conducted by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts should be sent by email to eeg-researchday@eeg.uminho.pt.

The deadline for abstract submission is 27 February 2026. Authors will be notified of acceptance on 6 March 2026, and presentation files must be submitted by 20 March 2026. The EEG Research Day 2026 will take place on 27 March 2026 at the University of Minho, Campus de Gualtar, Braga.
