University of Padua to Host MSCA Proposal Training for Postdoctoral Researchers

The University of Padua will host the 10th edition of the MSCA MaRaThoN@University of Padua – Developing High-Impact Research and Training Proposals – from 20 to 22 May 2026. The three-day intensive training programme is intended for outstanding researchers planning to submit a proposal for a Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship with the University of Padua as their host institution.
The in-person training will focus on the preparation of a competitive and high-quality proposal. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with highly qualified research groups across a broad interdisciplinary network of scientific fields. As a host to an increasing number of Postdoctoral Fellowships, the University of Padua offers promising and motivated researchers the opportunity to join a well-established and dynamic community of Marie Curie fellows.
The deadline for applications is 9 March 2026 at 13.00 Central European Time.
The Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are open to experienced researchers holding a doctoral degree and with a maximum of eight years of full-time equivalent research experience. Applicants of any age, nationality or discipline are eligible. The programme supports excellent research and provides attractive working conditions.
The European Commission will launch the new call for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships on 9 April 2026, with a submission deadline of 9 September 2026.
Outstanding candidates whose proposals are not funded but who are awarded the Seal of Excellence for high-quality MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship applications, scoring 85 out of 100 or above, may apply for alternative funding through the MSCA Seal of Excellence@University of Padua programme.
