Vilnius University Opens Registration for the Smart Internship

Registration opens today for the Smart Internship for Vilnius University (VU) students. During the internship, students who work on tasks set by businesses and public institutions have the opportunity to become better acquainted with organisations, establish professional contacts and gain knowledge valuable for their studies and future careers.
This semester, students can choose from five challenges submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EPSO-G UAB, the Employment Service, the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority, and the online donation portal Aukok.lt.
Smart Internship is the solution to challenges (cases) announced by companies or institutions, carried out in an interdisciplinary team of 5–7 students, with the entire process guided by a university supervisor and a mentor from the host organisation. The activities are organised according to the Design Thinking methodology. During the internship, additional training activities are organised to improve students' communication, creativity, public speaking, and teamwork competencies.
The Smart Internship is open to all VU students, regardless of their study programme, level or year. Students may undertake it either as a voluntary (additional) internship or as a professional internship required by their studies. The Smart Internship lasts 3 months.
Registration for the internship will be open until 22 February. Further information is available here.
