VU and Maynooth University Offer Arqus Micro-Credential on Innovation Leadership

Through the Arqus Alliance, Vilnius University and Maynooth University are offering a micro-credential focused on innovation leadership in dynamic and uncertain environments. The programme aims to strengthen participants’ strategic and leadership skills and help them develop innovation strategies that create lasting value for organisations and society.
The programme explores the role of leadership in turning ideas into meaningful solutions. Participants will learn how to manage disruptive technologies, foster collaboration across sectors and apply responsible and sustainable approaches to innovation.
A key element of the micro-credential is its focus on responsible innovation. Participants will explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and introductory methods for assessing the environmental, economic and social impact of innovation. The programme brings together Vilnius University’s expertise in innovation management and technology transfer with Maynooth University’s strengths in sustainability and social innovation.
Practical work is central to the programme. Participants will work in teams on a real-world innovation challenge and apply the tools introduced during the course. They will then present their strategy to peers and experts.
The international Arqus setting also offers an opportunity to collaborate with participants from other European universities and build connections across institutions. By the end of the programme, learners will have gained practical experience in developing and leading responsible innovation in complex and fast-changing environments.
