VU and NTUT Continue Collaboration with Call for Joint Research Projects

Vilnius University (VU) is continuing its collaboration with the National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) and has launched a call for joint research projects. This year, researchers in physics, chemistry, environment and sustainability, information technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity are invited to apply for funding.

The seed funding programme aims to strengthen collaboration between researchers at the two universities and support the development of joint research ideas, paving the way for future participation in international research funding calls.

Applications must be submitted jointly by researchers from VU and NTUT. Up to three projects are expected to receive funding. The call is open to early-career researchers who obtained their PhD no more than ten years before the application deadline.

For each selected project, VU will provide up to EUR 10,000 and NTUT up to USD 10,000 in seed funding to support collaboration and joint research activities.

Applications must be submitted by 30 October at 5 p.m. local time via email to mokslas@cr.vu.lt and jenny0322@mail.ntut.edu.tw.

Projects are expected to be selected in November 2026. The selected projects will begin on 1 January 2027 and run for 12 months.
