Zinaida Ožinskytė (1917–1941?) was born in Petrograd. In 1934, she graduated from the private Jewish Gymnasium in Kaunas. From 1937 to 1939, Ožinskytė studied at the “Livret” University in Paris. In 1940, she submitted an application to study at the Philology Department of the Faculty of Humanities of Vilnius University and was accepted. On 19 September 1941, she was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. According to the “Yad Vashem” database, Ožinskytė was killed during the Holocaust.
