Maloniai kviečiame į Kyjivo menų ir dizaino kolegijos studentų darbų parodos „Buvome. Esame. Būsime. Taip, kaip ir Ukraina!” atidarymą 2022 m. balandžio 25 d., pirmadienį, 16 val. Vilniaus universiteto bibliotekos galerijoje (Universiteto g. 3, III a.)
Šioje parodoje pristatomi meno darbai yra meninė emocinio šoko (sielvarto, pykčio, siaubo, vilties), patirto Kyjivo profesinės menų ir dizaino kolegijos paauglių studentų, išraiška. Kurį laiką studentai galvojo, kad šie kūriniai netinkami eksponavimui, tačiau juk tikras menininkas turi kurti. Studentai piešė šiuos paveikslus slėpdamiesi rūsiuose nuo bombų ir apšaudymų, gyvendami rusų okupuotuose miestuose ir kaimuose, išvežami iš pavojingų vietų autobusais ar jau gyvendami užsienyje. Kai kurie iš šių menininkų prarado namus ir tuos, kuriuos mylėjo. Galimybė pristatyti savo darbus plačiajai auditorijai Europos universitete tapo vilties spinduliu studentams ir jų dėstytojams. Ši galimybė pristatyti savo darbus – tai Ukrainos pripažinimas Europos bendruomenėje ir jos pergalės, sulaukus viso civilizuoto pasaulio paramos, įrodymas.
Paroda Vilniaus universiteto bibliotekos galerijoje veiks iki 2022 m. iki gegužės 16 d.

We cordially invite you to the exhibition of the artworks dedicated to Russian-Ukrainian war by students‘ of Kyiv College of Arts and Design “We were. We are. We will be. And so will Ukraine!” on 25 April at 4PM in the Galery of Vilnius University Central Library (Universiteto g. 3, 3rd floor)
The artworks presented in this exhibition are the artistic expression of emotional shock (grief, anger, terror, hope) experienced from the first day of the war until today by teenage students of Kyiv Professional College of Arts and Design. At first, the students thought that these works cannot be shown in the exhibition. However, the true artist cannot abandon one’s craft. The students were painting while hiding in basements from bombings and shelling, while they were living in the cities and villages occupied by Russians, while they were on the evacuation buses, or while they were already abroad. Some of these artists lost their homes and loved ones. The opportunity to present their work in a European university in front of a broad audience is a ray of hope for many students and teachers. It is a recognition of Ukraine among the European community and the evidence of Ukraine’s victory with the support of the whole civilised world.
The exhibition is on display in the Gallery of VU Central Library (Universiteto g. 3, 3rd floor) until 16 March 2022
