State Scholarships for Full-time Graduates
There are number of scholarships on offer for students at Vilnius University. These include University scholarships, state scholarships and mobility scholarships. Check your eligibility today.
Full-time Master degree studies
- A monthly scholarship and a grant covering the standard study cost is offered for the nationals of the Republic of Ukraine,the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Georgia and foreign citizens of Lithuanian origin (50 grants altogether, 40 of them – to the nationals of the Ukraine);
- A monthly scholarship is offered for the nationals of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Moldova, Japan, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the State of Israel (10 grants altogether);
State Funded Places
Citizens of countries of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), persons (non-EU/EEA) granted a right of permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the Diaspora and people of Lithuanian origin can apply for the State Funded Place in the programme.
State Scholarships For Incoming Mobility
State scholarships under international agreements and bilateral exchange programmes are designed for students, lecturers and researchers of higher education and research institutions to enable them to study or carry out research at state higher education and research institutions of the Republic of Lithuania. Students and researchers from different fields of studies or research are welcome to apply for Lithuanian state scholarships.
VILNIUS UNIVERSITY Tuition Fee Waiver For Full-time Master Degree Studies
Tuition waiver will be awarded to the most motivated and competent international non-EU/EEA students applying for Vilnius University Master programmes taught in English or Russian language. This scholarship covers full cost of the tuition fee.
VILNIUS UNIVERSITY Faculty of Law Special Scholarship
Scholorships for Ukrainian, Moldovian, Belarusian, Kazakh students to International and European Union Law.
VILNIUS UNIVERSITY Institute of International Relations and Political Science Tuition Fee Waiver
Tuition waiver will be awarded to the most motivated and competent international non-EU/EEA student applying for Master’s degree programme of Eastern European and Russian studies. This scholarship only covers the full cost of the tuition fee.
- Candidates must be non-EU and non-European Economic Area citizens who apply for Eastern European and Russian studies master programme.
- Candidates cannot have other financial support covering tuition fee from other Lithuanian or Foreign organisations.

State Scholarship for Lithuanian language and culture courses
